About Us Holt Fire & Safety opened its doors in 1995. Three years later, Omni Fire & Safety LLC purchased Holt Fire & Safety, and we continue to do business in the original name and it remains locally owned and operated. We are proud members of the National Association of Fire Equipment Distributors (NAFED) and the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA). We service much of East Alabama and West Georgia. We sell only the highest quality equipment; for which all our technicians are trained by the manufacturer to properly install and service.  Some of these include Amerex, Badger, Fike, Kidde, RangeGuard, Pemal, FireLite, Honeywell, Vesda, Guardian, Buckeye, Siemans and Pyro-Chem. All of our technicians are NFPA 10 trained and tested. Holt Fire & Safety prides itself on its excellent customer service. We want to be your company’s first line of defense against fire. Meet Our Team Kevin Marlin is our Managing Member. He is NICET certified in fire alarms and special hazard systems at level IV. He specializes in fire suppression systems including the installation and semi-annual testing of commercial kitchen systems, vehicle systems, paint booth systems, industrial fire suppression, FM200 (HFC-227) clean agent fire suppression, and Co2 fire suppression systems . Kevin carries a Georgia Fire Extinguisher and Fire Systems permit. Greg Garbe specializes in fire alarm systems, smoke detection, CCTV, and access control. He is NICET certified in fire alarms at level IV. Greg carries a Georgia Low Voltage Unlimited license. Sammy Hadaway is a certified technician and is knowledgeable in all areas of fire equipment requirements and support all functions of Holt Fire & Safety. Jim Moon specializes in industrial sales and training. He has 15 years experience with various fire departments at the city, state and federal level. Jim is a federally certified SCBA trainer. Christin Culligan is our Office Manager and can assist with all your account management needs. Heidi Marlin is our Delinquent Accounts Manager. Let’s just say you don’t want to deal with her.
